Resource usage limit reached

If you have received a message about resource usage limits, your first step should be to check your resource usage.

  • When you view your hosting package in the MyHost control panel, Disk Usage and Bandwidth Usage are shown near the top of the screen.
  • Log into cPanel to see a more detailed Statistics panel.

Tips for reducing resource usage:

  • Some extensions or plugins may consume lots of resources, so if you have recently installed a new plugin and/or have identified a problematic plugin, you might want to uninstall it and replace it.
  • Also ensure that you have disabled or uninstalled all unused plugins.
  • Ensure that your webpages are not running any scripts that may generate false requests.

Upgrade and avoid limits

If none of the above solutions resolve your issue, a long term solution is to switch to a new web hosting package with unlimited storage and bandwidth. Contact us or open a support ticket to start your upgrade.
